Woodson Bend was developed as a getaway destination for Lake Cumberland visitors a nice place to invest in & stay a reasonable distance from home with alot of amenities, golf, pool, tennis courts
at the time horseback riding. Over the years it has done very well providing for its owners these amenities and has seen a
greater apppreciation than other lake properties.
If you think about it, what you are really looking for is a place to sleep. It's a vacation place so you will be out
doing stuff. You won't be inside much. Yes you want a nice place of course. In general you can get a better
appointed property there versus a stand alone property. A $300,000 Woodson Bend unit is going to be quite a bit better
than a $300,000 stand alone property.
What about the HOA? This is where most people pause when considering Woodson Bend. They are worried it is just an
expense. The HOA is the cost of ownership rolled altogether and shared with other owners. The HOA includes:
24-hour gated security
Building insurance (and more not enough room here)
